July 2006 – MariCOMS Caribbean completes installation of WiFi zone at West End, Tortola, British Virgin Islands. 

August 2006 – Communicationes Avancadas de Centroamerica SA is formed to develop projects in Latin America.  

September 2006 – MariCOMS completes expansion of marine WiFi hotzone serving 5 marinas and 400 moorings at Boot Key Harbor, Marathon Key Florida. 

October 2006 - MCG is the provider of WiFi at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, the world's largest marine exposition.  Maricoms provided coverage to MIASF members and guests in the Show areas along the Intracoastal Waterway between the Las Olas bridge and the Bahia Mar Resort.February 2007 – MCG lands planning contract for new Caribbean radio network to be based in Ft. Lauderdale.

April 2007 - MariCOMS WiFi expands marine wireless  broadband coverage of the Key West Bight, including improved connectivity at the 5 major marinas, 6 restaurants and bars, and anchorage for over 200 yachts.
 
May 2007 – MariCOMS WiFi selected to build largest yacht cruising WiFi network in the Bahamas serving George Town, Exhumas.
 
June 2007 – MCG CEO, Jeff Horn, again appointed as Co-Chair of Government Relations for the Marine Industries Association of South Florida (www.miasf.org)
 
July 2007 – MCG selected to design network for Tradewinds Broadcasting – The Sound Of The Tropics using innovative broadband program delivery.  Tradewinds becomes 'sister' company in the Maritime Communications Group. (www.tradewindsradio.com)
 
July 2007 -  MariCOMS expands service in Key West to include Safe Harbour Marina and famous Hogfish Grill.
 
August 2007 – MCG begins streaming program content for Tradewinds Radio.
 
August 2007 – Veteran broadcaster and radio personality Allen Engebretsen joins Tradewinds Radio as President and General Manager.
