MCG has formed a joint venture company in Costa Rica to advance telecommunications opportunities in rapidly expanding Latin American markets. 

Based in San Jose, Communicaciones Avanzadas de Centroamerica SA ('ComAvan') represents Maritime Communications in designing and constructing broadband projects in marinas, hotels, and businesses throughout the region.   ComAvan is also becoming an important importer and wholesaler of advanced telecommunications technologies into Central America.
